Descriptions
One line
Undertone explains your company's jargon during calls and reminds you of the facts when you're asked.
Short
Undertone is a macOS app that listens along to your calls. When a code name, acronym or internal project comes up, it explains it in a small panel beside the call, using your team's own Slack, Notion and Jira. When someone asks you a question, it brings up the facts you need. Afterwards you get the recap, your tasks and a follow-up draft.
Long
Every company has its own language: project code names, acronyms, internal tools and half-explained decisions. New joiners, people working in a second language and anyone switching between teams spend calls quietly guessing. Undertone fixes that without a bot in the meeting.
It runs on your Mac and transcribes the call on-device. When a term comes up that you probably don't know, a small panel explains it from your team's own sources, with a link to where the answer came from. When someone asks you something, it shows the context and reminders you need, so you can answer in your own words. Before a meeting it briefs you; afterwards it writes the recap, pulls out your tasks and drafts the follow-up.
Undertone works with the AI you already have, keeps work and personal meetings apart, and is free during the beta.
What it does
- During the call: code names, acronyms and internal projects are explained the moment they come up.
- When you're asked: the facts and context come up as reminders, so you can answer in your own words.
- Before and after: a briefing for the next meeting, then the recap, your tasks, a follow-up draft and new terms to learn.
- Try it first: a made-up sample meeting plays through the real panel before your first call.
Demo video
90 seconds, 1600×900 with music. Download the MP4 · Download the panel GIF. Embed or re-share freely; the meeting, people and tickets are made up.
